Hailing from the Allstate Arena in in Rosemont, Illinois and initially airing on May 17th of this year, this Judgement Day was the 11th pay per view of it’s name and featured tallent from all three brands of the WWE.

The opener saw ‘hometown boy’ CM Punk go up against the ‘Samoan Bulldozer’ Umaga. After three weeks of Umaga attacking Punk it was time for the Straight Edge superstar to get his revenge on the big Samoan. Decent match, I am a HUGE fan of CMPunk and I enjoyed the character of Umaga

Christian’s matches with relitive newcomer Jack Swagger, turned Swagger from a guy I couldn’t bare to watch, to a guy I could see a lot of potential in. This match was no different. An ECW title re-match of very high quality. Christian defending having taken the title from Swagger three weeks earlier at Backlash.

Shelton Benjamin vs John Morrison was definatly an entertaining match. Morrison has gone from strength to strength and is now able to show what he’s worth in the singles division since the split from his tag team partner The Miz.

Speaking of which, The Miz is up next cutting a promo, comparing his former tag team partner to Marty Janetty! He geos on to bag John Cena, and the audience and gets a thunderous heel reaction. He then challenges Chicago Cubs player, Alfonso Soriano who is in attendance in the audience, but he gets Santino Marella! Definatly a promo that proves that the Miz is indeed, awesome!

Jericho is interviewed backstage by Josh Matthews and cuts a promo about being disprespected and how there is a conspiracy against him!

This leads to his match against Rey Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship. (Nice to hear the Jericho fans out-shout the Mysterio fans at the beginning too!)

Randy Orton vs Batista isn’t a match I was intersted in the first time around. Nothing against Randy but even he isn’t good enough to make Batista look credible in the ring.

John Cena Vs The Big Show had been built up for a few weeks and still didnt hold that much interest for me. I do like John Cena but I think Big Show has had his day.

The one I was looking forward to seeing again was the main event, Jeff Hardy vs The Rater ‘R’ Superstar; Edge! Two of my favourite WWE Superstars ever in one match, can it get any better?
Edge is the title holder at this point, defending against his old nemesis, Jeff Hardy and knowing the history between these two definatly adds to the excitement of the match. I could watch these two feud for YEARS and not get tired of seeing it!
Awesome match!

Once again lacking on Extras but priced at just 10:99 from Silvervision I guess we can’t complain.

If you are a collector then this is one of the better PPV’s of the year so far, if you’re a Hardy or Edge fan then buy it just to have that match in your colletion!
