Wrap Up Video

Now selling in a double feature set along with 2000’s No Mercy, Unforgiven of the same year holds such classic matches as The Hardys Vs Edge & Christian and the fatal four way featuring The Rock and Undertaker, Kane and Benoit.
Being the year I started watching wrestling, this DVD set is definatly one I had to have and one I would certainly class as being part of a ‘golden era’ of wrestling in my eyes. It was this pay per view that saw the return of Stone Cold from his neck injury and also Raven’s debut in the WW(F)E during the Tazz/Lawler match.

Of course the highlight of the night for me personally was the Hardys/E&C cage match. These guys never had a bad match together, this was no exception. Major risks taken, some horrible high bumps and risky manouvres that seriously make you wonder how all of them are still doing what they’re doing almost 9 years down the line! These guys OWNED the tag team division back then and in a way it’s sad to see how much the WWE seems to have shied away from these sort of tag team feuds and storylines. Along with the Dudley’s, Acolytes and RTC who have the honour of the opening match on the card, it was definatly the golden age for the tag team divison if nothing else and a faction I personally miss very much!

Triple H vs Kurt Angle is another awesome match. With no disqualifications and a special guest referee, Mick Foley!

The fatal Four-Way is another classic that I remember with great affection. It seemed to me that every WWE championship match in months and months featured two or more of these four main guys of that time. It’s awesome to be able to see it all over again and still found myself yelling for The Rock!
I would definatly recommend this DVD for anyone who was watching wrestling in 2000 and if you weren’t then you need to get educated and buy it anyway!
Awesome stuff!
More please!
