Looking at the sheer content of this disc I couldn’t wait to get it into my DVD player and start watching! Not only do we get classic matches from the Hogan/Cowboy Bob Orton/Piper/Orndorff era but we also get great stuff like the more recent DX vs Spirit Squad and Edge vs Cena from 2006!
There are also extras on all three discs, something I can’t recall the WWE ever doing with a three disc set in recent history! (And something that always knocks them a point off my overall scoring is lack of extras so I can’t complain about this one can I?!) I especially like the extras on Disc 3 with HBK talking about his first ever IC Title win and Matt Hardy’s take on the Evander Holyfield boxing match he was thrown into. I also love the fact that ‘mean’ Gene Oakerlund is presenting this DVD set, he’s definatly one of the most recognisable voices in wrestling and I enjoyed hearing and seeing him on this set.
For a huge Shawn Michaels mark like myself it was awesome to see matches such as Rockers vs. Brain Busters from November 25, 1989 and The Rockers vs. Hart Foundation from April 1990 (Both of which I had never previously seen before!) as well as 1992’s match against the British Bulldog and more up to date matches such as his bout against Shawn McMahon in 2006 and the aforementioned D-Generation X Vs the now defunct and extremly anoying Spirit Squad, also in 2006. Definatly a must buy for a Shawn Michaels fan for starters!

The matches on this dvd get my thumbs up, the extras – thumbs up, the commentary – thumbs up! I thoroughly enjoyed every disc in this set! And with thanks to Highspots.com I discovered there are 2 easter eggs on disc 1.
1) Go to chapters and click on the Hogan vs Funk match and click to the left twice. You will find Funk talking about how nobody wanted to wrestle and lose to Hulk on natinal tv,but he didn’t have a problem with it.
2) Go to chapters and go to the Ordorff vs Hulk match and click to the left twice. It will show Orndorff talking about a fan throwing a chili dog on his robe and he went to the back and washed it off and then proceded to shove the chili dog in Hulk’s mouth
.

Definatly 8/10
