This pay per view is one of the WWE’s ‘big four’ of the year. Coming from Washing DC’s Verizon Centre and origionally aired live throughout the world on 22nd of November in 2009. There are 6 matches on the card including 2 traditional ‘Survivor Series’ elimination matches (3 if you count the ‘Divas’ having a bash!) and two ‘Triple Threat’ matches for the 2 major titles.

Opening up with the ‘undercard’ Elimination match was probably a good move as it got the crowd fired up and ready for the rest of the pay per view. Great to see guys like Sheamus and McIntyre in this, one of the main matches. Ziggler and Bourne start the match and there’s lots of action from start to ‘surprising’ finish! I wonder what happened to Swagger’s push!?

After the match we are backstage with the ‘Kingston’ Survivor Series team and Christian, as always, is awesome! Give this guy more mic time!!!

When Batista turned on Mysterio it shocked wrestling fans the world over! This is another match in this feud between the two former friends and another chance for the ‘little guy’ to prove size doesn’t matter. Unfortunatly after Batista almost kills him he fails to prove anything other than how horrible these two are in the ring together. Im glad they had this match as it saved anyone else from having to attempt to make them look good!

The next match has a lot of potential, featuring guys like Punk and Christian, Orton and Regal definatly looks to be an awesome match; and it is. Marred slightly by the ‘super hero’ ending, but I suppose someone’s gotta do it!

Chris Jericho Vs The Big Showvs The Undertaker; boy was I NOT Looking forward to thisone. As it happens, it’s not as bad as I thought it’d be. Im just not a fan of Show or Undertaker and I had a feeling Jericho would just be sat on! Not a bad match, I’ve seen worse!

Backstage the ‘young guns’ Sheamus, McIntyre and Miz revel in their victory, Im just happy something went the way I’d hoped!

The Divas Elimination match was.. alright I guess, if you like that sort of thing! Lots of hair flying around and grunts louder than a Williams Sister’s match, pretty much all we can expect from a women’s division in the WWE these days!

The main event is an excellent triple threat match for John Cena’s WWE title. HBK starts things off very quickly and shockingly with Sweet Chin Music on his unsuspecting partner in crime, Triple H and it’s all action from then on in! Really good match from all three participants and one I didn’t mind seeing again!

Overall I think this was a pretty decent Pay Per View, although nothing really exciting or way out unpredictable happened, it was still enjoyable to watch and one I definatly don’t mind having in my collection for future viewing!
Probably a 6 or 7 out of 10!
