SummerSlam 15th August, 2010

The Nexus, in my humble (and often WRONG!) opinion, will go down in history with Evolution; maybe not quite nWo but definatley up there with Triple H’s hostile bunch! I have LOVED their storyline from the beginning, and still do, so I was looking forward to Summerslam this year and seeing who would win between them and team WWE. For onnce I really didn’t care about the outcome I just knew it’d be an exciting match!
The pay per view on the whole was good, from the opener with Dolph Ziggler facing Kofi Kingston for the Intercontinental Championship, to the surprise returns of two fan favourites. I also have to mention The Miz here who was without a doubt one of the reasons I would buy this DVD! His mic work improves with every show I see him on and he is just hillarious!
Sheamus vs The Viper, Randy Orton was an incredible show of wrestling skills and Sheamus went up another notch for sure!
I wasn’t struck with the Divas match, but then I’m not normally interested in the stuff they pass off as ‘women’s wrestling’ these days so form your own opinion of that one!
Big Show vs The Straight Edge Society and Kane vs Mysterio are not the best matches on the card but I still didn’t fast forward!
The extra is an interview with Daniel Bryan that hasn’t been shown on TV so that’s always a plus.

I would definately reccomend this DVD; it’s a keeper!!
