Jim Ross Comments on Last Night’s RAW Tapings, Theme for New WWE Roundtables, Steve Austin Takes a Shot at Brock Lesnar, More

– Jim Ross wrote the following on Twitter after last night’s RAW Supershow tapings in Mexico City

“1st Mexico RAW TV ever in the books. Was called thurs pm 2 catch a plane fri. Hope everyone watches mon nite. Was a 1st 4 me. Gracious all. Bedtime in Mexico City. Can’t wait to get on @AmericanAir. Thx to @JohnCena 4 tonite. DVR awaits w/ OU vs Kansas. Raw Mon nite = redemption.”

– As noted before, the 2011 WWE Tribute to the Troops will air on Saturday, December 17th at 9pm EST on NBC as a one-hour special. The USA Network will air it first, as a two-hour special, on Tuesday, December 13th at 9pm EST.

– Former WWE Superstar David Hart Smith will be filming an episode of TSN’s Off The Record this Tuesday to promote the Stampede Wrestling show on November 6th in Barrie, Ontario. Smith will be wrestling Finlay on the show.

 – Mick Foley noted on Twitter that he will be appearing on an upcoming episode of NBC’s 30 Rock and promised more details to come.

 – As announced by WWE earlier, Jim Ross will be teaming with John Cena to face Michael Cole and Alberto Del Rio on Monday’s RAW Supershow. At last word, WWE is not planning on bringing Ross back to commentary anytime soon.

 – Justin Credible turns 38 years old today while Missy Hyatt turns 48.

 – The Rock mentioned on Twitter that work on Fast Six will begin soon.

 – As noted before, Jim Ross will be headed to WWE headquarters this week to film two new Legends Roundtables with Roddy Piper, Diamond Dallas Page, Michael Hayes and host Gene Okerlund. Piper has been plugging his appearance on Twitter and noted that one of the Roundtable discussions will be on Rebels & Outlaws.

 – Steve Austin took a shot at Brock Lesnar on his Twitter this weekend:

 “Hell..once Brock heard that glass break in Atlanta…he’d of been so nervous, he would have blown a tackle, drop down, hip toss spot. #uhoh One tackle, drop down, duck the clothes line, watch out for the Iron Claw…good night folks.”
