– The dark main event after last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings saw Daniel Bryan beat Wade Barrett and Big Show in a three-way with Booker T as the special referee.

– WWE’s website has announced that Randy Orton will not be competing in advertised Street Fights against Wade Barrett at this week’s SmackDown live events, due to the injury suffered at last night’s SmackDown tapings. Sheamus will be facing Barrett instead.

– FCW Heavyweight Champion Leo Kruger lost to Alex Riley at last night’s RAW live event in New York City. Kruger, who is from South Africa, cut a heel promo before the match. The match was described as flat and dull by fans in attendance.

– Mick Foley hosted last night’s RAW live event at Madison Square Garden and ended up getting into it with Jack Swagger. Foley introduced Swagger’s opponent, Jerry Lawler. Lawler ended up winning the match and Mr. Socko made an appearance after the match.

– John Cena defeated Kane by DQ last night at Madison Square Garden in their first match of the current feud. Kane ended the short match by hitting Cena with a chair, causing the disqualification. Kane walked out but came back to the ring, only to get caught by an Attitude Adjustment.

– Some names in attendance at last night’s RAW live event in New York City were rapper Run from Run DMC with his family and Betty Skaaland, widow of WWE Hall of Famer Arnold Skaaland. Zack Ryder’s father and his friend The Big O were also in attendance.

– WWE will return to Madison Square Garden with a Supershow on Sunday, March 18th. Tickets go on sale January 7th. The pre-sale begins January 4th and the code is WRESTLEMANIA.

– Jim Ross said on Twitter that he’s not on WWE TV because WWE is not high on his look plus officials like Michael Cole.

– The children’s book that WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes is currently working on will be released some time next year and is apparently titled “Red The Zebra.”

– As of this week, the plan is to bring WWE’s Money in the Bank match back to WrestleMania 28 in Miami. The match was not featured at this year’s WrestleMania event.

– Booker T will face WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes on the January 6th, 2012 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

The match comes after Rhodes retained the title at TLC and Booker won the non-title match on Monday’s RAW Supershow. They taped an angle at last night’s SmackDown tapings to set up the match.

Also on the first SmackDown of 2012, Daniel Bryan will defend his World Heavyweight Title against Big Show.
