– Former WCW star Evan Karagias turns 38 years old today. Today also would have been the 49th birthday of “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith and the 59th birthday of “Playboy” Buddy Rose.

– Chris Jericho noted on Twitter that his band Fozzy will be returning to the UK in June of 2012 and are planning to tour the United States in late 2012 some time.

– Regarding Tuesday’s live WWE SmackDown special at 8pm, most of the RAW Superstars won’t be available as they will be on their way to Yokohama, Japan for the tour there.

– Big Show spoke with TheState.com to promote Monday’s RAW Supershow. Regarding his name, Big Show said:

“It’s like any nickname you are given as a kid. You don’t really like it at first but the longer it goes on the more you become accustomed to it. I can’t even think of being called anything else now. I am The Big Show.”

– WWE officials have been discussing turning World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry babyface again. Sources expect the turn to happen sooner than later.

Mick Foley says he’s enjoying the rise of Zack Ryder and compares it to that of ECW Original Mikey Whipwreck, who trained Ryder:

“Really enjoying being a witness to this @zackryder rocket ride. Reminds me of the ECW rise of Mikey Whipwreck (Zack’s trainer BTW) in 1994.”

– You may have noticed the word “wrestler” or “wrestling” mentioned on WWE TV recently. Word is that WWE has relaxed their policies on words that they don’t want being used as ratings have gone down.
