WWE Edits Heel Turn and Tag Match Off Tonight’s SmackDown Broadcast, WWE Considering a Daily Talk Show for the New Network, Possible Host and More

– It sounds like WWE may have changed their mind on turning Kaitlyn heel.

Reader Cohen Morrison sent word that on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, that has already aired in Australia, the tag team match with Kaitlyn and AJ Lee vs. Natalya and Divas Champion Beth Phoenix was edited off the broadcast.

The match was taped at Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings and saw Kaitlyn turn on AJ, joining the victorious team of Phoenix and Natalya.

– WWE officials are looking at the possibility of doing a daily talk show on the new WWE Network. The show would also be simulcast as a radio show

WWE’s Scott Stanford is being talked about as a possible host for the show but he may be paired up with guest hosts because of concern that he may not have enough knowledge of the product to pull it off.

The show may air for a few hours each weekday and word is that the plan is to make it a completely kayfabe show.

– WWE Diva Kelly Kelly spoke with TampaBay.com to promote the Ugly Sweater Christmas Party at Jackson’s Bistro in Tampa, Florida this weekend. Kelly says she was looking at working for ESPN before WWE found her:

“I was in my first year of college and wanted to be an anchorwoman for ESPN. I love sports and I had an athletic background. When I got the phone call from my agent who said, “The WWE called me and they are interested in you.” I was like, “Oh, my God,” because I used to watch it when I was younger. I said, “Okay, let’s try it.” They kicked my butt for a week. I was throwing up. I had bruises all over.”

– WWE is now teasing that Beth Phoenix and Maria Menounos will wrestle at this weekend’s Tribute to the Troops tapings. The two have been going back and forth over Twitter for a few weeks now.

– WWE and Amazon have confirmed that a new DVD and Blu-ray on Triple H will be released on March 13th, 2012 in the USA. The feature was scheduled for a 2011 release but postponed for unknown reasons.
