Royal Rumble 29th January, 2012

The 25th Anniversary of my favourite PPV Of the year, The Royal Rumble! It was first broadcast on  29th January 2012 from the Scottrade Centre in St. Louis, Missouri, and if you saw it then it’s still wroth seeing again on DVD!
Kicking off with a Steel Cage Match for the World Heavyweight Championship, they just couldn’t go wrong! (Apart from putting Mark Henry in there I suppose!)

A fantastic mopntage of Cena’s ‘road to WrestleMania’ is shown with the MGK song in the background. Totally awesome video showing what John does in and out of the ring and how dedicated he is to the business!

Later on in the show There is a video montage of The Rock’s road to Wrtestlemania that is equally impressive and I loved watching these again!

The Divas tag match is OK but I’m not a huge fan of the current round of Divas so I have to admit to fast forwarding it!

Brodus Clay Vs. Drew McIntyre was abismal. I may be slightly biased but why aren’t they using Drew more than this??!
Cena Vs. Kane is a great match as is Punk/Ziggler but obviously the highlight of the show is the 30 man Battle Royal at the end, loads of superstars get the chance to show what they can do in this match and it’s ALWAYS entertaining to watch!
Loved this pay per view as much the second time around and it is one of the only ones in the year that I have no problem paying for on Box Office so I would definitely recommend it on DVD!
