Shawn Michaels Discusses John Cena vs. The Rock Getting Personal, The Rock Comments on Wrestlers “Breaking Kayfabe” and John Cena Responds, Chris Jericho on Who He Never Got To Wrestle, More

– WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels spoke with ESPN Radio (31:00 mark) to promote WrestleMania 28 and told the hosts that he has not been tempted to return to action.

Shawn also gave his thoughts on John Cena vs. The Rock getting personal:

“Sometimes I feel like the WWE has lost that in a lot of respects. John and Rock have brought back what somebody like me used to do on a regular basis back in the day. I think it’s refreshing. It’s good, it’s good for business, and good for them to bring out the best in each other. There’s nothing wrong with making it personal… that’s better business whether people like it or not.”

– After Monday’s RAW Supershow with John Cena’s rap and The Rock’s concert, a fan on Twitter wrote to The Rock about how he was “keeping kayfabe” and Cena wasn’t but Rock was still “owning him.”

The Rock replied:

“”Breaking kayfabe” is easy, cheap and never entertaining. Boys who are desperate do it all the time.”

Cena replied with the following today:

“Agreed @therock People should stick to the difficult stuff like mom jokes, sexuality, and making light of someones appearance. #WM28”

Chris Jericho was asked on Twitter today who he wanted to wrestle but never got the chance to. He responded with the late Owen Hart or his brother Bret Hart.

Jericho also joked about reports of his match against CM Punk at WrestleMania 28 opening the show:

“Thats BS. Its gonna be the dark match…”

– Variety reports that WWE and Lions Gate Films have signed a deal to produce a reboot of the Leprechaun horror movies from the 1990’s. No names have been attached to the movie yet but the plan is for it to be released in 2013. WWE and Lions Gate previously worked together on See No Evil with Kane.
