-- A person who was backstage at Survivor Series backed up another WWE source’s claim to the Pro Wrestling Torch that the tension between Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and John Cena, or rather Johnson and the WWE locker room, escalated to a new level last November. Among the wrestlers’ laundry list of complaints of Johnson is that he has “gone Hollywood,” has a big ego, wants to be treated as a big star and doesn’t go out of his way to get to know all of them.
CM Punk has been among Johnson’s most vocal critics in media interviews as he feels the WrestleMania XXVII top slot should go to someone who is on the road two hundred days a year not to mention that it hurts morale when he doesn’t say hello to the wrestlers backstage. It was speculated that the WWE Champion has been angling for a match with Johnson next year, but that is not the case as he was openly resentful of his presence on the day of the Survivor Series.
— WWE.com has published a photo gallery of dream opponents they’d like to see The Undertaker face at WrestleMania. Those pictured include Sting, Andre the Giant, Randy Savage, Rey Mysterio, One Man Gang, Bret Hart, Bruiser Brody and Mr. Perfect, among several others.
In a recent interview with a local newspaper, as he helped to promote an upcoming event for Ultra Championship Wrestling, former Tough Enough contestant Martin Casaus revealed who he thought should have walked away as the TE winner based on the finale.
When asked if he felt eventual winner Andy Leavine was the right choice, Martin responded:
“I really do not think Andy was the right choice… I don’t think he did anything on the show to constitute him winning it.”
He then went on to say that, based on “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s options in the finale, Luke Robinson would have been the better choice, before revealing that he remains in contact with the company, as well as with Austin & TE trainer Bill DeMott, keeping everyone updated on his health and his progress, in hopes to sign a WWE deal in the future.
– The new movie in the Chronicles Of Riddick series, simply titled Riddick, features an appearance by former WWE Superstar Dave Batista. Playing a bounty hunter trying to track down Vin Diesel’s Riddick character, the six-time WWE/World Champion recently posted a picture of his new look for the film, featuring a much talked-about mohawk. Now, we finally have our first look at an image of the film itself, featuring Batista and a team of mercenaries.
Also starring Bokeem Woodbine and Karl Urban, Riddick has yet to receive an official release date.
– In what may be nothing more than a “test run”, of sorts, WWE has placed a truncated, five-minute version of The Rock’s “Rock Concert” from this week’s episode of Raw. The download price is listed as $1.29, and can be found at the following link…

– Harry Smith, formerly known as David Hart Smith while working with WWE, revealed to PWTorch.com that he plans on having his first MMA fight in “eight-months-to-a-year”, depending on the advancement of his fighting ability and whether or not he can get offered a fight from various promotions, admitting that he needs more time to “season”.
