Update on Chris Sabin’s injury, Knockouts Tag Champion Undergoes Throat Surgery, Former WWE Wrestler At Impact, Several Former WWE Superstars Scheduled To Wrestle In Russia This Fall

In an update on Chris Sabin’s knee injury, suffered last night on Impact, Dixie Carter (@TNADixie) just tweeted the following..

“Chris Sabin tore his ACL in last night’s Ultimate X match on Impact. He’s obviously frustrated but determined to come back ASAP.”
– TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion Eric Young stated on Twitter that he underwent throat surgery Thursday to remove polyps.

“Surgery sucks. I have had nothing to eat or drink since last night at 1000pm. I want to kill some body right about now. My surgery starts in 30 mins and I’m still in waiting room ggrrraaaggghhhhhhhhhh,” he wrote. “Still in waiting room for surgery. They have no idea how close they are from death like @REALBobbyRoode after 4 hrs with out food @RobbieEImpact.”

Young wrote Friday that he has resumed his daily activities and that his throat feels okay. Since 2004, he has undergone over fifteen throat surgeries.

– Jay Bradley, who competed as Ryan Braddock for WWE in 2008 and 2009, lost to Magnus in a dark match before Thursday’s live Impact Wrestling.

In a match taped for TNA Xplosion, Devon defended the TNA Television Championship against Robbie E.

A press conference was held Thursday in Moscow, Russia at the Ritz Carlton in Red Square where World Wrestling Fan Xperience announced its next Champions Showcase Tour on October 13, 2012 in the MegaSport Arena. The main event will be Oleg Kozlov (formerly known as Vladimir Kozlov) vs. Chris Master for the first ever WWFX Heavyweight Champion, and first ever pro-wrestling champion crowned in Moscow.

On hand for the conference was Kozlov himself as well as former WWE Divas Champion Jillian Hall and former WWE Superstar and TNA X-Division champion Daivari.

Also confirmed for the tour on October 13, 2012 at the MegaSport Arena in Moscow are former WWE Superstars John Hennigan (formerly known as John Morrison), Carlito, Shelton Benjamin and MVP.
