WWE Champion CM Punk is not advertised for Saturday’s pre-Royal Rumble WWE Supershow in Evansville, Indiana. Punk had previously been expected to appear at the UFC on FOX show that night with fighter Chael Sonnen. The updated main events for Saturday’s Supershow is John Cena vs. Kane and Mark Henry vs. Big Show vs. Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Title.

– After defeating Trent Baretta on today’s WWE NXT, Heath Slater ended his 22 match losing streak – counting WWE TV and Superstars/NXT matches. Slater’s last victory also came over Trent Baretta – on the July 28th, 2011 WWE Superstars.

– At last word, WWE is planning to launch the Network around November of this year. Of course that could change and most likely will. The next set of commercials for the Network is scheduled to air around WrestleMania 28.

– At last word, Money in the Bank is scheduled for WrestleMania 28 with the winner being able to challenge either the World Heavyweight Champion or the WWE Champion at any time.

– There is said to be a major twist planned for the 30-man Royal Rumble match this year, based on the announced idea that every Superstar is eligible to be in the Rumble. This angle was also done to set up at least one planned storyline.

– The latest on the Cody Rhodes vs. Goldust/Dustin Rhodes storyline is that it’s being looked at for February’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

– It’s possible that WWE may shop the “Legends House” reality TV show to other networks if the launch of their own Network is significantly delayed.

– In a correction from earlier, the March 26th RAW Supershow from Atlanta with The Rock will not be a three-hour show. Instead, they will be taping both RAW and SmackDown matches that night since everyone will be headed to Miami for WrestleMania 28 festivities.

– WWE officials are looking at doing a 3D theater presentation of the SummerSlam pay-per-view after UFC recently announced similar plans.

– Here are some recent WWE attendance figures:

* The Supershow in Winnipeg on January 20th drew 6,000 fans for $240,000

* The Supershow in Fargo, ND on January 21st drew 6,000 fans for $145,000

* The Supershow on January 22nd in Lac Cruces, NM drew 7,200 fans for $200,000

– Triple H is also being advertised for the March 12th RAW Supershow from Cleveland, the same show that The Rock is scheduled for. Triple H will likely be appearing on RAW regularly until WrestleMania beginning next week for the John Laurinaitis angle.

As noted before, Triple H vs. The Undertaker is scheduled for WrestleMania.
