Hosted by Scott Stanford, this is an extensive look at the best matches on WWE Par Per View Events throughout 2011 (almost!) on this three -disc set.
There is an approximate run time of just over 7 hours!!! That’s more match for your money! (14 matches in fact!) The Blue-Ray double disc set features 4 more matches than the DVD.
Kicking things off with the first pay per view of the year, and my personal favourite; The Royal Rumble we see the fantastic match between Edge and Dolph Ziggler and second up also features Edge – now that’s how to start a DVD!
The only problem with this DVD is that it stops at Vengeance. That means it’s missing Survivor Series AND TLC, both of which in my opinion are important to close the year out. I don’t understand why they’ve done that to be honest it seems a bit of a waste. Survivor Series saw the Rock return to the ring (surely that SHOULD have been worthy of this disc?!) And the Tables, Ladders, Chairs pay per view in December was full of action that could have been shared here. It’s not really the best matches of 2011, it’s the best matches of 10 months of 2011!
Any way the matches that ARE included on these three discs are fantastic. No DQ’s, Hell In A Cell, No Holds Barred, Triple Threat , Money In The Bank and more more more! If you have time to sit and watch this all in one go then you need a job! BUT Do get it and DO watch it (Even if like me it has to be in several stages!) It’s a fantastic way of seeing all that was good about the year without having to sit through all that… was Sh…wasn’t so good!
Definitely worth buying for your collection!
