Newsflash

The PPV numbers are in for WrestleMania 24, and they are considerably lower than wwe and Floyd Mayweather expected. WrestleMania 24 drew 1,058,000 buys which works out to $23.8 million. This is less than last year’s 1,200,000 buys and $24.4 million for WrestleMania 23. The numbers were released this morning with WWE’s first quarter earnings report, which had the company listed as pulling in $19.5 million in net earnings over the first quarter of 2008.

SIX young up and coming British Wrestlers have been given the chance to showcase their talent on one of the biggest shows to happen in the UK this year as they do battle in a six man tag at the Coventry Skydome.

European Navigation is the first Noah show to be held outside of Japan and these six guys will be the ones helping to kick the evening off in style.

As this is an authentic Noah show - not just a British show with Noah stars flown over - it is an honour for these six wrestlers to be asked to compete on an event which is already stacked with Noah's top Japanese and American fighters.

Noah is one of the hardest promotions in the world to break in to, because of the standard of their product and the physically demanding style of wrestling that is showcased.

Many wrestlers can only dream of getting a match at a Noah event.

So without further ado here is the list of the six competitors that you hope to have you raving after the June 21 show:

Mark Haskins (Team Captain)

Mark Haskins has been tearing it up around the UK since his debut in July 2006.

'The Star Attraction' has been impressing nationwide in 4FW, IPW, RQW and 1PW rings and most fans - love or hate him - will agree that he clearly has the talent to go far in the business.

Zak Sabre Jr

A product of the NWA Hammerlock training school from the age of 14, Zack Sabre Jr has been the star of the junior heavyweight division of his home promotion for

more than two years

He possess a style that combines the British mat based submissions, and adding his own unique twists of rolling into submissions and pinning maneuvers.

Dave Moralez

Dave Moralez has been steam-rolling through fellow midlands competitors for years and more recently has been picking up championship gold in both IPW and RQW.

The Human Hate Machine was offered the chance of a life-time - to represent IPW:UK in Germany's wXw promotion and wowed crowds with his rough house style and ruthless aggression.

Moralez is the single most underrated talent on these shores.

THEY WILL FACE...

El Ligero (Team Captain)

Highly touted cruiserweight El Ligero originally hails from Los Sancho in Mexico.

His high flying daredevil style and crowd pleasing demeanor make him one of the top prospects in the UK.

Ligero has competed against some of the world's top high-flyers, including Pac, El Generico, Jonny Storm and countless others.

Bubblegum

There seems to be no stopping this youngster, his charismatic charms coupled with high risk offence recently brought his first championship.

Bubblegum recently recovered from a serious injury and gets his chance to shine on a large stage this June.

Mystery Member

The final man in the match is to remain secret until the day of the show.
