--Smackdown last night did a 2.3 rating on the fast nationals

--The current Rolling Stone magazine as well as the TMZ.com web site has a story about a high-end escort service in Los Angeles that hires porn stars, Playboy playmates, Maxim models for rich clients who pay up to $25,000 per night that was just busted by the FBI. Among the names listed as escorts in the article were Ashley Massaro, who was listed as a Playboy cover girl and WWE star. There is an interesting twist here that hasn't come out. There is a bikini model named Ashley Massaro from Las Vegas, who is younger than the WWE's Ashley Massaro and the two are often confused because they look similar. It wouldn't shock me that they are mistaking the two.

--The Highlight Reed segment with Roddy Piper for the WWE web site is at www.wwe.com/content/media/video/vms/afterthebell/may1-7/7009900?zone=_ind ex
--The Barrie Advance at www.barrieadvance.com/barrieadvance/article/102930 has a story on Mr. Kennedy. It said he moved from Green Bay to Minneapolis because it's more convenient for get flights. He credited Paul Heyman with coming up with the Kennedy name to appeal to Vince (he didn't say it, but if it wasn't Kennedy, I think the other name he was going to come up with was the name of Vince's dog) when Vince nixed the name Anderson, his real name (Vince's long standing grudge against Ole). And in the wrestler big fish story of the article, he claimed HHH tore his quad in a match and wrestled more than 15 minutes on it. I mean, it was gutsy as hell what he did in the San Jose match seven years ago, but it was less than two minutes. Pretty soon it'll be an hour Broadway the day after he tore his quad.
--WWE is releasing a Voter Issue Paper for the presidential election as part of its Smackdown Your Vote! campaign
--Nic Nemeth with his new "The Natural" gimmick is on the road this weekend with the Raw crew
--There is an article in the Daily Gleaner in Fredericton, New Brunswick talking with Edge noting he used to live in Moncton early in his career when he worked the old Grand Prix circuit. He noted he was wrestling seven days a week then against Badnews Allen.
--WWE runs for its next California tour on 6/7 in Redding and 6/8 in Stockton. That would be Raw shows because they are doing a Sunday double Smackdown taping on 6/8 in San Jose

--Freddie Prinze Jr. was at Raw on Monday night in East Rutherford, NJ. He was also at Wrestlemania and the Hall of Fame
--Smackdown vs Raw was No. 7 on PS 2 and No. 10 on PSP last week in Australia (thanks to Jereme Warneck)

--Anthony Marella noted watching 24/7 and being surprised to see on the November 24, 1987 MSG show that Nick Bockwinkel announced with Gorilla Monsoon and Lord Al Hayes. Bockwinkel worked for WWF as an agent, and had a tryout as an announcer, after he retired from the ring earlier that year.

--There is an interview with Chris Jericho from the recent European tour at http://duploimpacto.blogs.sap.pt/
