--Rick Bassman has returned Ultimate University to the R1 Center in El Segundo, CA, five minutes from LAX (the airport, not the tag team). The new UPW school will have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:45 p.m.and Saturdays at 1 p.m., promo class focusing on character development, psychology and the business of wrestling. Tuition is $200 per month and after 17 months it drops to $50 per month. Instructors include the Ballard Brothers, Joey Ryan and Scott Lost. It opens up on Wednesday. John Cena, Victoria, Chris Masters, Jon Heidenreich, Nathan Jones and The Miz started and other students that trained there have include Samoa Joe, Melina, Paul London and Brian Kendrick.
--The TV listings for the coming week don't list a late Wednesday night AWA Classics show on ESPN Classics, but it will be on Thursday (thanks to Jeff Sheridan)
