(COURTESY GERWECK.NET)

Four championship matches will top the bill as New England Championship Wrestling returns to the National Guard Armory, 1000 Hancock Street in Quincy, MA on Saturday night, March 29th with a 7:00 PM bell time for MARCH BADNESS.

The main event, based on events that took place as last month's GENESIS 7, will see NECW Triple Crown Champion, Big Rick Fuller, managed by Brian Cairo, taking on the most controversial man in NECW, "The Promise" Antonio Thomas. Last month, Thomas interjected himself in the championship match between Fuller and the giant-like Max Bauer, attacking both men. It's an intriguing situation, as Fuller and Thomas, neither of whom could be called a fan favorite, will collide in a one-on-one battle for the gold.

Last Sunday, March 9, "The Portuguese Princess" Ariel won the coveted World Women's Wrestling Champion from Lexxus in a controversial match that saw Ariel conspire with her new "agent", Brendan Michael Thomas in an elaborate scheme to take Lexxus - and the rest of us - by surprise. On Saturday night, March 29, Ariel with Brendan Michael Thomas in her corner will face the former champion, Lexxus, in a rematch. Last Sunday's match was one of the most intense battles in WWW history. Expect the same at MARCH BADNESS.

New NECW Television Champion, Handsome Johnny will defend his newly won title for the first time against former PWF Heavyweight Champion, Jason Blade. These are two top tier athletes in NECW going head-to-head with the belt on the line.

New NECW Tag Team Champions, Chase Del Monte and "Rocket" Fred Curry have issued an open challenge to any team that wants to take them on. Del Monte and Curry will be putting the belts on the line at MARCH BADNESS.

Max Bauer still has his sights set on the Triple Crown, but he will have to focus his attention on a major challenge as he takes on the two time IRON 8 Champion, "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards in a special challenge match.

The newly formed tag team of "The Human Nightmare" Evan Siks and "Nightmare" Nick Steel make their debut as a team taking on The Hot Shots, Bryce Andrews and Vain Valentino.

"The Golden Greek" Alex Arion with his sister, Elektra Arion in his corner, battles Team Cairo member, Scott Osbourne.

Also, Pat "The Brat" Piper returns with a live "Pat's Pit." His guest will be former NECW Triple Crown Champion, D.C. Dillinger.

Tickets for NECW's MARCH BADNESS are now on sale at all FYE locations, K.C.'s Sports Cards, 133 Temple Street in Quincy Center and online at www.NECWwrestling.com.

This past Sat. Night at IWF "Total Chaos", in front of a near capacity crowd, the debuting Drake Younger won the Insanity Rulz Rumble.

Younger will now face IWF Heavyweight Champion The Necro Butcher on May 24th.

Full results saw:

In the opening match, Egotistical Fantastical defeated All Japan's Akira Raigin in 12:40. Both men pulled out all the stops and put on one hell of a match that clearly could have gone either way. This match in itself was well worth the price of admission. We're looking for both men to return on My 24th.

In Six-Man Tag-Team Action, it was Zach Gowen, "Amazing" N8 Mattson & Jimmy Jacobs (w/ Truth Martini) over Chi-Town Heat (Danny Daniels, Trik Davis & the massive Keith Walker) in 12:28 as it took all three of the Michigan natives to pin the close to 300 pound Walker.

Michael Rayne beat Adam Callas in 4:14.

Drake Younger beat CK3 (Conrad Kennedy III) in 2:58. CK3 injured his shoulder early in the match and will need surgery. CK3 was a heavy favorite to win the rumble and face Necro on the 24th. We hope he has a speedy recovery from his 4th degree seperation of his AC joint.

The Motor City Wrecking Crew defeated Jeff Brooks and Kid Hybrid in 8:20. Brooks and Hybrid gave the much larger Tony Tyson and Jay Walker all they could, but The MCWC was just too much to handle. After the Match, The MCWC had a wild brawl with the Cold Bros who had been watching the match from ringside. A challenge was made for the next show.

In 12:17, "Mr. Insanity" Toby Klien pinned "SJK" Sterling James Keenan. It was an impressive debut for "SJK", but the ever so unpredictable Mr. Insanity came out on top.

In a Handicap IWF Tag-Team Title Match, The Soul Shooters (Drew Tha Don & Poison Apollo) regained the IWF Tag Team Championships from a lone DBA in 6:41. DBA fought valiantly but the double teaming of the Shooters was just too much for even the "Most Dangerous Man in Michigan" to fight off. (Corporal Robinson, DBA's partner and one half of the tag team champions, was unable to attend due to a severe tooth infection.)

Drake Younger and Mr. Insanity were the final two in the Insanity Rulz Rumble. Younger eliminated the IWF mainstay Mr. Insanity in 29:22. Younger will now go on to face Necro Butcher on May 24th.

Corporal Robinson, 2Tuff Tony, Cash Flo, Deranged, Claudio Castignoli Silas Young and Mike Hutter were all unable to attend due to various reasons.

The IWF (Insane Wrestling Federation) proudly presents "Gut Check!" on Saturday nite, May 24th (7:30pm bell) at the Elks Lodge Lodge 1945 (25000 Michigan Ave.) in Dearborn, Michigan!!!

PRESIDENT CENA SIGNS ABYSS FOR NH DEBUT!
http://www.MWFprowrestling.com/mwfnewsline20080218-abyssnh.html

MWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Todd Hanson (c)
-vs-
"Die Hard" Eddie Edwards
These two hungry, young athletes have only met once before. In the fall of 2003, Edwards pinned Hanson in the MWF TV Title Tournament (albeit with outside interference from Ox Baker's Army). Both athletes have continued to grow and excel at their craft over the past four plus years. Edwards was MWF TV Champion for two and a half years; Hanson was one half of the first MWF Tag Team Champions and ended Dylan Kage's four year reign as MWF Heavyweight Champion at SOUL SURVIVOR IV. Edwards has become a standout with Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan while Hanson has impressed in opportunities he's had with WWE.

The Debut Of Abyss

MWF TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
"Million Dollar Investment" Tommaso Ciampa (c)
-vs-
"Slyck" Wagner Brown
Ciampa has held the gold since September 29th, when he defeated former champion Eddie Edwards and TNA superstar AJ Styles in a triple threat match. Since then, he's fended off the challenges of Edwards and TNA X-Division Champion "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal. "Slyck" Wagner Brown is an MWF original, and has done it all in New England. . .except win an MWF championship belt!

REVENGE MATCH
Rick Fuller
-vs-
Ox Baker's Executioner Brian Milonas
This is battle of the big men is huge rematch from CHRISTMAS CLASH! Fuller's war with Ox Baker's Army began after winning the 4th Annual "Boston Bad Boy" Tony Rumble Memorial Battle Royal this past August. Milonas crushed every opponent in his way until he met up with Fuller on Christmas night when they battled all over the building, forcing the referee to rule the match a double count out. On the March MWF ULTRA, Fuller teamed up with Demolition Smash to defeat Milonas and Islander Makua in a casket match, which earned Fuller an upcoming title shot when he dumped Makua into the casket. This war is far from over, things could get ugly in a hurry in Nashua!

John Cena Sr. & J-Busta's In Ring Confrontation!
The former "Johnny Fabulous" thought he was putting together a mega-corporation when he became partial owner of the Millennium Wrestling Federation last fall. However, it was J-Busta who worked behind the scenes, obtaining post-dated contracts with Cena's blessing. In October, Busta put out a hit on Cena, having Tommaso Ciampa and Jimmy Jact Ca$h hospitalize their former manager and leader. Now that Cena has become the president of the MWF, he's ready to up the ante in his showdown with Busta in Nashua.

The Return of "Straight Edge" Brian Fury
Brian Fury competed in the first match in MWF history on September 28th, 2001, and makes his long awaited return to the Federation of a four year absence. A huge addition to the MWF roster, look for big things from Fury in 2008 and beyond!
