The PPV numbers are in for WrestleMania 24, and they are considerably lower than wwe and Floyd Mayweather expected. WrestleMania 24 drew 1,058,000 buys which works out to $23.8 million. This is less than last year’s 1,200,000 buys and $24.4 million for WrestleMania 23. The numbers were released this morning with WWE’s first quarter earnings report, which had the company listed as pulling in $19.5 million in net earnings over the first quarter of 2008.

Saturday, April 5th in New Rochelle, NY will be the biggest night in the career of professional wrestler, "Sweet 'n' Sour" Larry Sweeney as he steps into the wrestling ring for a "Boxer vs Wrestler Match" against boxer, Larry Barrnes (44-3-0, 17 KO's) at New Rochelle High School for the New York State Wrestling Federation.  Also appearing in action: Team 3D, Romeo Roselli, Antonio Thomas & more superstars.  For further information visit www.nyswfwrestling.com  or call (914) 235-4676.
All Three Special Guest Judges For The Boxer Versus Wrestler Match in New Rochelle, NY On April 5 Announced
 
Two-time former WWE Hardcore Champion Pete Gas, Sam Roberts from The Opie & Anthony Show and former New Rochelle & White Plains High School Athletic Director Mario Scarano have officaly been announced as the special guest judges for the "Boxer vs. Wrestler Match" pitting wrestler "Sweet 'n' Sour" Larry Sweeney vs. boxer Larry Barnes (44-3-0, 17 Knockout's) at the New York State Wrestling Federation's Pro Wrestling event on Saturday, April 5 in New Rochelle, NY at New Rochelle High School.
 
Also appearing on April 5 in New Rochelle, NY: TNA Superstars Team 3D (Brother Ray & New Rochelle's own Brother Devon vs. the Heavy Hitters (Monsta Mack & Havok); Romeo Roselli vs. Antonio Thomas; Ladies Match wth Special Guest Referee: former New Rochelle City Councilman Joe Fosina; Plus more exciting matches.
 

"When Larry Meets Larry"
 The New York State Wrestling Federation is proud to have signed a “Boxer Versus Wrestler Match” pitting pro wrestler “Sweet ‘n’ Sour” Larry Sweeney vs. former world boxing contender Larry Barnes (44-3-0, 17 knockouts) for their April 5th pro-wrestling event at New Rochelle High School in New Rochelle, NY. 
  For both men named Larry, November 18th is a date that still haunts both men to this day.  Barnes’ last major fight was in a fourth round loss to Felix Trinidad on November 18, 1995.  Ironically, that  same day in 2007 was a just as unpleasant for Sweeney, who lost his prestigious I.C.W./I.C.W.A Texarkana Television Championship to Bryan Alvarez.
  On April 5th, One Larry will win, but will it be the boxer or the wrestler?  Further details on this historic match will be announced in the coming weeks.
