Newsflash

The PPV numbers are in for WrestleMania 24, and they are considerably lower than wwe and Floyd Mayweather expected. WrestleMania 24 drew 1,058,000 buys which works out to $23.8 million. This is less than last year’s 1,200,000 buys and $24.4 million for WrestleMania 23. The numbers were released this morning with WWE’s first quarter earnings report, which had the company listed as pulling in $19.5 million in net earnings over the first quarter of 2008.

HERE'S shamed WWE writer Michael Hayes pictured on the night he made the shocking racial slur that lead to his suspension.

Our exclusive photo shows a drunken Hayes singing on stage during a boozy party.

SunSport can also reveal in full what the top booker allegedly said to black wrestler Mark Henry.

An eyewitness claims Michael was ribbing Mark that his lack of success on Smackdown was due to him "not being black enough".

He then added: "I've got soul, brother. I'm more of a n***** than you are!"

The conversation took place during a party at WrestleMania weekend, during which the former Freebird was extremely inebriated.

Our eyewitness added: "Hayes was up on stage, drunk, singing badly and swaying all over the place.

"It's the same thing he did at Stephanie McMahon's wedding to Triple H.

"Only this night didn't turn out so well for him."

After Henry complained to senior management, the WWE banned Hayes for 60 days with no pay.

A spokesperson said: "In order to return to work, Michael Hayes will be required to undergo further evaluation."
