The PPV numbers are in for WrestleMania 24, and they are considerably lower than wwe and Floyd Mayweather expected. WrestleMania 24 drew 1,058,000 buys which works out to $23.8 million. This is less than last year’s 1,200,000 buys and $24.4 million for WrestleMania 23. The numbers were released this morning with WWE’s first quarter earnings report, which had the company listed as pulling in $19.5 million in net earnings over the first quarter of 2008.

--There is a very strong article in today's Baltimore Sun on the WWE post Benoit. Very balanced and fair in getting all sides and coming to reasonable conclusions without sensationalism. The reporter clearly understood pro wrestling which made it a plus at www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ called "The Great Escape"
 
--The SlamWrestling web site www.slamwrestling.com has an article on Jim Ross saying that the fans in Toronto have the right to cheer and boo who they want. Hopefully the announcers won't be instructed to insult them if they cheer and boo the wrong people.

--Jim Ross will be speaking soon to WWE developmental talent in Tampa
