Drew McIntyre Storyline Update, Work Out with Chris Jericho, Foley’s Swap

– This coming Saturday, the day before the Royal Rumble, Chris Jericho will be at the D-1 training facility in Tampa, Florida. D-1 is the new facility owned by Chris Jericho and athletes Tim Tebow, Chipper Jones and Derrick Brooks. The first 50 people to register at the new facility will get to work out with Jericho.

– Due to President Obama’s State of the Union Address tonight, the episode of ABC’s Wife Swap featuring Mick Foley has been delayed until next Tuesday at 9pm EST.

– There is some confusion as to whether or not Drew McIntyre was fired by Teddy Long in the storylines on Friday’s SmackDown, after losing another match. McIntyre acted as a Lumberjack in the main event so apparently his firing wasn’t effective until the show was over.

The January 21st episode of WWE’s AM RAW scored a 0.57 cable rating with 723,000 viewers.

– Last night’s WWE RAW Supershow, the final RAW before Royal Rumble, scored a 3.2 cable rating with 4,617,000 viewers. This week’s show did hours of 3.19 and 3.16. The first hour of RAW this week did 99,000 more viewers than the second.

– According to The Rock, he will be live in Boston on March 5th for the WWE RAW Supershow. Rock said he woudn’t miss the Boston for the world and being in Cena’s hometown, things should get interesting.

As noted before, The Rock is also being advertised for the March 12th RAW Supershow from Cleveland and the March 26th WrestleMania go-home RAW from Atlanta.

– The dark match before tonight’s WWE tapings in Tucson, Arizona saw “Ryback” Skip Sheffield defeat three local wrestlers in a handicap match.

– Matches taped Tuesday night in Tucson, Arizona for this week’s episode of WWE NXT Redemption are as follows:

* Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso vs. Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks

* Heath Slater pinned Trent Barreta

* Titus O’Neil vs. Percy Watson

Additionally, a match featuring Jinder Mahal vs. Tyson Kidd was taped for WWE Superstars.

— Hacksaw Jim Duggan was a trending topic Tuesday night on Twitter because his trademark battle cry “Hooo!” was yelled during tonight’s State of the Union Address.

— Tammy Sytch has been announced as a vendor guest for Wrestlereunion on Friday and Saturday. The event takes place at Westin Los Angeles Airport 5400 West Century Blvd. Los Angeles, California.
